Hello, I'm french and my english is very poor... I'm a retired man living in a house and so I'm not a company. My house has 15 contacts of relays (one on each door and on each window), they had been placed during the construction of the house. The wires are in the wall and completely hidden. I'm looking for wired alarm with an ability of extension ( number of wired captors or also wireless captors). The centrale must be quite (no siren) to be dissimulated from the burglars. In my bedroom I want and keypad with a LCD that can indicate to me where the intrusion occurs. My job was in informatic system, so I will be happy to configure my alarm wit…

Risco beams 72 series (7225,7250 and 7275). The data sheet tells me what the tamper output is but not the alarm output ie if it a changeover relay, contact closure in alarm condition etc.

Hi, From forums and even neighbors I hear that The Securitywarehouse is in fact the only place to get an alarm system at a reasonable price. Only the quantity of the products creates some confusion with me, therefore I would like some advice. I am looking for an alarm system to install in my house next to my home automation system. As I see on your website I have the choice over various systems. My concern however is that all components are compatible with each other. I am looking for the following: A hybrid central unit (wired and wireless) with battery. 3 wired keypads 5 PIR detectors (both infrared and microwave) with pet immunity. (wired…

Hi I am interested in purchasing the Scantronic Homelink 55 system for use at my private residence - this will allow me to upgrade my existing system and utilise the alarm cabling with the added ability to install future wireless devices without the need to install any further cables. My query is this - when installing the alarm can all of the programming functionality be achieved by the use of the keypad included in the pack - or does any specialist device or software need to be purchased? Many thanks John

I have a customer who is after adding a wireless keypad onto a Texacom Premier 24 (wired) system. I was under the impression that this was not possible without replacing the panel and all accessories (PIRs, Contacts etc) completely. Could you please advise me if there is a product whereby I can add a wireless keypad to this system

Description states "Many metal control panels connect 0Volt of the 12VDC supply to the case of the box." Do you know if this is true for the Honeywell Galaxy G2 panels?

We have recently moved in to a house fitted with a Scantronic 9448 alarm system. We believe we need to replace the PIR detectors to pet tolerant ones (as we have two house cats) and I wanted to check before I go ahead and purchase them that the 430 PIR will be compatible with the existing system?

I have recently changed a Optima compact Gen 4 panel as a favour for someone. The first panel that was bought through Amazon had a fault on it. A second unit has since been fitted and all is working except the new Siren which is a Reson 8. The unit comes with pre-fitted links across TA TAMP and PA. The manual states that these should be in place when powering the unit up. This contradicts some advice on online instruction that says to remove the link to T A when wiring the siren. The external siren does not sound or flash when an alarm is activated, internal sounder in board works OK and all zones work fine on a walk test. No LED,s in the siren are vi…

I have installed the gen4 alarm and then have just bought a extra keypad to add on to the system. I had a led keypad which I have know used up stairs, and the new keypad is a LCD which is down stairs. do you have to stick to just led keypads or can you mix led with LCD. when I wired it in it blew the fuse on the board and the battery fuse blew,I replaced the fusees and the transformer got rely warm, also came up with tamper fault lockout on keypad.I then disconnected the led keypad, and left the new LCD keypad connected to the system.the system now has no power to it,but still works on the battery power.have checked the wiring several times through the process but cant ex…

I have been recalculating and it seems that the Galaxy G2 wireless starter is is a very good deal. The kit is about the price of the sensors and the keyprox. which means I would get the panel + RF portal for free. Am I missing something here? If I want a Dimension 48 wireles started kit it seems I would better buy the wireless G2 kit + a separate GD 48 panel. Also if you cam me me a better deal for a GD 48 + MK7keyprox + 3wireless PIR + 6 wireless door contacts + 4 prox's + 2way switch I would like to hear that too. PS. Can I dial/log in remotely (PSTN/Ethernet) with the dimension?
