I'm hoping for some advice if the following is possible and if so, which products are suitable.

I have an old Optima XM system with hardwired contacts for the Front Door Zone.

I am trying to understand if there is a suitable product that allows me to change the hardwired door contact

to a wireless battery operated contact. Is there a wireless converter I can instal next to the control box

that can take the wireless signal from the contact and convert to a hardwired connection between the

wireless converter and the relevant zone contacts in the Optima controller. If so, are there any suggestions

of products for the converter and/or door contact.

But id strongly recommend upgrading the control panel to a Hybrid unit to pick up the existing hard wired detectors and add your rf one
