Hi

 

I want to add a magnetic lock that released when the panel is unset. I see there are 2 outputs on the Premier 48 both that can take 1A but this seems alot. is it really ok to wire directly on to the pannel without needing a relay. Im thinking of running the SSP Mini Magnetic Lock unmonitored on the door conserned. if I do need a relay do you have a prepackaged one with power supply etc?

 

Any help apprecated.

    Hi: Just had a quick look at my Installer Manual for the Premier 48 & it shows that outputs 1 & 2 can be used to drive loads of up to 500ma each output not 1A, so your best bet would be to use a relay unit.
