I have programed all pir siren contacts and tcu remote but when trying to set full or part set the tcu displays operation cancelled instead of arming any ideas please

Have all devices walk tested ok? Also anything of interest in the log?

Has unknown event on full system set

Is that what the log says?  sounds like a major programming problem. Might be an idea to wipe it and start again.

I have done a full reset and added only one pir as entry exit and one tcu with the same result. Do not even get the setting tone.

I would say that you have an uncleared alert. How are you arming it?

Pressing the full set button on the tcu remote then entering the user code. Have tried the arm twice within a minute to force arm with no joy.

I presume you can access and exit engineer mode without issue?

Is the mains and battery ok? also is the tel line disabled or connected?

Sorry I have taken so long to reply. The battery and mains is fine and the telephone line is connected but not enabled.

Do me a favour remove the detector and only have the keypad unit. It really sounds like an acked event.

 

Either that or a faulty panel. If be surprised though.

The only thing that concerns me is the unknown event in the log.

 

Can  you confirm the exact wording and events either side please.
