Accenta G4 Part Set Zone Advice

Moved into a property a few years back and alarm works fine, however I want to alarm  the garage alone so I thought maybe I could use Part Set programme 2 to do this. All went well until I tried to omit zones or even make them used or unused it worked quite well the first time but when I set it again all the zones have reverted to previous setting. I just want the garage zone active in programme 2. How can I make this permanent? I have tried in Engineers mode as well. Help would be appreciated.
