toby
I am trying to find a suitable PIR detector which will trigger the alarm input on the Axis camera. 1) Is the Optex EX-35T a suitable PIR for this and would I also need the Optex Wall bracket to mount onto a wall? 2) Also, presumably this Optex PIR would need to be wired to a power socket and to the alarm input of the camera directly. Is there a PIR detector which runs on batteries and also transmits to a receiver which could then trigger the alarm input of the camera i.e. so I could have the PIR detector outside free of wires, and the camera inside triggered by a receiver powered by mains electricity? Secware_Tech6
The axis 207 requires a N/O (normally open) input. Most security devices are N/C (normally closed). However some offer N/O options. ie http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1688 See datasheet.
