hassanm Posted April 20, 2010 Share Posted April 20, 2010 hi... should be recieving my alarm from you trammorow and want to take a go at installing it my self.... but looking at the wires my sons layed 8 core instead of six :-\... and than for the internal speaker they did not feed the wire to the control panel instead the fed it to the keypad :-\. what can i do can i use the 8 core wire? and what about the internal speaker... and plus they layed the 8core for everything which is the bell box... Secware_Tech6 Posted April 20, 2010 Share Posted April 20, 2010 the 8 core will be fine just leave 2 of the cores spare. re the speaker you can't run that from the keypad. its also not advised to run a speaker signal with any other cables. it would work but can cause data corruption on the keypad lines. your mileage may vary Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
