Fault on New Alarm

Dear Sir,

I have just had a new kitchen fitted and wanted to move the old large alarm to the porch...I contacted the engineer who fritted the old alarm  and with great difficulty, managed to get him back to help.  He advised that the cheapest way would to hide the old alarm and run a small pad type of alarm to be on show...still in the kitchen.

Tonight I had to run through the house in order to get out in time as the alarm started to go off.  The engineer has not left me any instructions...simply saying it is like my old one.....It is not!

Getting hold of this chap has been so difficult.....Could you send me a Manual.....On the alarm it says Scantronic..Style 9427.....and on the box it says...09427EUR-80.....Lot 2009k ....Nov02.....COOPER Menvier.?

Do hope that you can help me.

Hi: You would be better off contacting a decent local Engineer to look at this for you, if it is an EN graded alarm system then you are limited as to the amount of Entry / Exit time that can be set. But your keypad should be relocated to an area near your most used Entry point (Normally the front door).

Regards: Andy @ Amman Security.
