SITS
Hi all I'm new to this forum, so please excuse my lack of technical knowledge. A couple of days ago I was moving stuff around under my staircase where I have an Alarm panel covered inside its metal casing. I'm certain I did not touch it, suddenly the house alarm went off and the Keypad panel was showing Bell fuse fault. I went ahead and replaced the bell fuse and it but it kept blowing. I had the alarm engineer who installed it come round and he disconnected all wiring to the PCB and still fuse kept blowing. The engineer has currently rewired the bell box to another connection on the PCB allowing me to still set the alarm but I have to say 'yes' to the fault to get to the zone settings. Anyone had experience of this or might be able to advise. My thinking is that there is a PCB fault.
Secware_Tech6
I doubt moving stuff in a cupboard would cause a pcb fault. Can you upload a photo of the panel showing the connection you have disconnected
