Hi, i recently ordered some extra window/door sensor and an external siren for my Visonic Power Master 10 ADT Branded alarm.
I have added a few sensors in the past with no problems but both door switches and the siren will not communicate with my alarm panel.
When I add the device and press the auto-acquire button on the new sensor the panel tells me it is not a compatible device.
So i tried entering the 7 digit number and now the panel said it is not registered on the network.

Thinking it may be my panel at fault i tried to register them on a neighbours panel with the same results

 

please advise?

 

Visonic and they tell me the encryption on all ADT panels are different from there standard power master 10 panels and all sensors must be purchased from ADT.
