I've installed the Scantronic 9651 with RKP 9940. and wired the panic button off the RKP but when i test the panic button, it doesn't work, any ideas 

 

i have two installs doing the same.

The 9940 keypad can be connected to an external panic attack button, as

shown in Figure 11. If the panic attack does not contain a tamper switch, link

the pair of "EXT TAMPER" terminals. Separately link both pairs of terminals if

no panic button is used.

You have done the above

 

and you will also need to enable the keypad pa option

87: Keypad Dual Key Alarms

This command enables users to raise an alarm by pressing two keys on the

keypad at the same time. Three types of alarms are available, each of which

can be enabled or disabled independently. The default is disabled (option 0).

I've enable PA on option 87, but still no joy 

if you disconnect the circuit wire to the pa connections in the keypad and leave engineer mode what's the result?

Sorry the RKP is a 9941 not 9940

But i just tried a second panel with 9941 RKP and the same result, but the tamper side of the on panic works

SO if yu remobe the link on the keypad and exit engineers what does the display show?
