Domonial System Help

Featured Replies

We are looking at buying the domonial system, the house is simple enough, requiring a Honeywell domonial wireless 2 PIR kit, an additional PIR, 3 more tags & a wireless siren. We also have two outbuildings that require protecting, the first is approximately 7m from the house (12m from the panel) it will need an internal alarm and 2 PIRs - one at 12m the other at 19m from the main panel, the signal would also have to travel through at least two solid walls, will it do this?

There is also a barn some 45m from the panel, this is a bit more complex it will require 1 PIR and a door contact, we need to access it without always turning off the rest of the system and visa versa, can the domonial cope with this or do we need a separate wired or wireless system?

Thanks for your help

Id advise against the domonial. Fantastic panel though it is, without any training on it you will not be able to program it. Id have a look at a G2 galaxy using the domonial peripherals. Its impossible to tell if rf will function on a site without first conducting a site survey but the honeywell Domonial RF is the best regarding range.

The domonial will not group (ie allow you to run sub systems) but the g2 will.

Have a look at the G2-20 or G2-44 control panels and an rf portal and the same peripherals, except the wireless keypad as this is domonial only.
