I have a Eurosec CPX alarm system.  I also have the engineer and user codes.  I need to change the battery as it's probably eight years old.

 

Please could someone give me a step by step guide as to how I disable the system so I can open the control unit without setting off the alarm.  I am happy with the physical change of the battery.

 

I have the 'User Instructions' but it does not cover battery replacement. I guess I would need a maintenance manual.

 

I have also noticed that when I have a power cut the alarm goes off.  Is this correct and if so how do I disable that function.  It happened a couple of weeks ago when I was abroad on holiday, much to the inconvenience of my neighbours !

You don't want to disable that side

Just put ur panel in engineers and you can open it without alarm
