I purchased several items including a ADE Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 and a Honeywell ActiveGuard AG6 External Siren to update an old system in my house.

I fitted the items and all seemed to work well. However I have just realised that when I remove the PCB cover, activating the tamper, the external bell and strobe do not operate. The sounders on both of the key pads are activated by the tamper.

The external siren and strobe work as they should in all other situations (test, SOS, if the alarm is triggered etc.)

I just cannot work out what is wrong, any help would be appreciated?

    This is normal operation for an alarm when in day mode.  If you set the system and then try to do the same, the external devices will be activated.
