Hi all, i have this old system and the controller unit that the cameras plug into is making a humming noise that is anoying as its in living room, is there any other controler units that will accept my 4 s-video bw cameras that are already setup on my property ?

Got it.

They are not s-video cameras but may be using an s-video connector.

It looks like its 12v, 0v, video and audio down the 4 wires.

 

I doubt you will find anything compatible but id test the cables on a conventional dvr and and a multimeter. But for the quality of those cameras and what a new one costs i dont think its cost effective to keep them
