i have installed a castle care alarm with digi-modem1200 and i was wanting it to send a text message when the alarm goes off.i have put sms message in format in program digi/sms settings but it does not send text message when alarm is activated.the mobile numbers are correct in settings.

My understanding is that the digi modem would call the ARC, not send text messages.

castle care list it as The integrated modem allows for a variety of communication methods including SMS, SIA, Contact ID, Fast Format as well as up/downloading to PC and Automatic Remote Maintenance.

Yes you are right it can send SMS up to 4 mobiles down the PSTN. Can you advise your order number so we can check what it is insttalled with and we can follow this up for you

i dont know the order number it is a euro 46lm with digi-modem 1200

id assume you havnt enabled the digi unit. also make sure premium calls are allowed on the line. it needs to call the chc to pick up the numbers for sms servers. as a side note avoid sms over pstn unless your using a subscription service
