chfn
I am looking to replace an existing system (Elkron) with a new one and would appreciate any recommandation from an expert. I would like to combine wired detection (given available existing cable connection) and wireless detection (for new detection points and keyboards). I need to cable about 24 points (detectors, keyboards, smoke detectors, sirenes) and about 24 wireless points (windows/doors detectors, smoke detectors, IR detectors and keyboards) and would like detetors with some intelligence against false alarms (digital signal analysis?). I am currently looking at Risco as well as Texecom. I have heard Risco may be more difficult to program (only for registered installer?), is it true ? What system would you recommend (can also be another one) ? Thanks a lot for your help! Fr
