Taz29uk
Afternoon, I have recently installed an optima compact gen3 system in my house and added a remote keypad. The system is working fine and walk tests etc with no problems but whilst it is day made the remote keypad and main control box emit a double beep approx every five minutes (very annoying). I've gone through the operating manual and the engineers manual I have and it seems this would be the system telling me of a line fault for the communications system. However, as you as probably aware, there is no comms system on the compact panel. any idea how I can stop it beeping at me please......? Thanks, Neil Annals. Secware_Tech6
without knowing hw its programmed i would suggest you have turned on chime on a circuit. best way is to check that, if its not that, then id suggest removing all cabling and linking everything out, to see if the beep still occurs.
