I wonder if it`s possible to use the kp-160 as a remote keypad for arming/un arming and NOT only for proximity tags (chicklets) to a Powermaster 10? 

What version is the Powermaster 10? Is it v 15? Because I heard that this is the key to get this working as a numerous keypad.

Sorry to be a PITA      But on the KP160 package it says "Operated by keypad and proximity tags". On the screen, the keys are shared between symbols and numbers.

One retail seller have showed me that this is working live with Power master 10 units.

I heard that there was old units with only tag function in the beginning, but that they have change this function to keypad/tag function after massive complaining from customers. This is changed since 6 months back on the kp160 units.

Can you confirm this? Is this the units you are selling or is it the old one`s?

Visonic do have plans to release a new version of the KP-160 which will indeed have numbers to be able to arm/disarm.  However this has not yet been launched.

They are already released. I have seen them working with keypads in Sweden. Look at your KP-160 boxes if you have the old ones or the new one`s.

If the retails shops have them in Sweden you should also have them I think.

I will buy your stuff if you have the new ones.

Sadly the UK and EU work on a different bandwidth, and the UK version has not yet been released.  We currently stock the KP-160 with symbols only, for arm/disarm by prox.

Any ideas about the UK version release? There must be a bigger market for this type of alarms in UK then in Sweden I think.
