fartow Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Hello. I'm trying to wire an external Sounder to my Powermax+ Central but I don't know how to wire it. So please help me :-( The sounder is a Cranford Spatial Sounder http://www.cranfordcontrols.com/datasheets/VTG_12_Volt_32_Tone_Anti-Tamper_Spatial_Sounder.pdf Thanks in advanced! Quote
fartow Posted May 24, 2011 Author Posted May 24, 2011 Hello again. I have received a reply from Cranford about this and as they have said I wanted to double check with you if this is right or not. The VTG12V should be wired so that the +ve terminal is fed to either pin 5 or 6 on the VTG, and the negative or ground connected to pin 3 or 4 on the VTG12V. I believe that the positive 12V can be taken from a 12V pin on the right of diagram 3.3 in the PowerMaxPlus manual sent to us. And therefore I Quote
accounts3 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 We would not like to disagree with the manufacturers instructions for wiring Quote
