Hi all, im just wondering if the, Texecom Prestige External TD Outdoor Motion Sensor, is compatable with the texecom veritas r8 system, if so how is it connected and can you use the chime facility?

The TD motion sensor would be compatible with any control panel, so yes also with the R8. It can be wired in ID, double pole or end of line, and if the zone is programmed for chime, then this facility would work

im looking to install it to the side of my garden.

These motion sensors are not beams, so do not come as pairs, as to needing one or two, this would depend on the area to be covered.

ok, i see now, if i was to want beam detectors do you stock any which would be compatable with the texecom veritas r8

All manufacturers beams would be compatible, it depands on the range you require as to which beam you choose
