rolysatch
hi i bought a dsc power832 alarm off of ebay about 3 years ago and have just got around to fitting it and realised that the installer code i was given is wrong. it's badged as british gas and apparently they had them made with there own defualt engineer codes. anyway i want to use as much of this old alarm as possible before i scrap it and so i was going to buy the ADE Accenta Mini Gen4 with LCD Keypad that you have for sale. my question is will the dsc pir's work with this ok? (i'm assuming yes) and also i see that it requires a 2.1ah 12v battery. my old alarm has a 12v 7.0ah battery so the voltage is the same. but by the looks of pictures they seem to be a different size. do you know if i can use this battery? thanks in advance roland

Secware_Tech6
while the pcb etc will support upto a 7A/h battery the case will only accommodate a 2.1A/h. this is a physical size issue only ie it won't fit in the compact case.
