I have a Mitsubishi DX-TL HDD recorder, and i am looking for some replacement monitors as my current screens are getting a bit dark. The Mitsubishi has BNC connectors with 1.0Vp-p and 75 ohm output. The Secware 17" TFT monitor has a BNC connection but doesn't state the voltage or resistance, can someone confirm that the monitor would be compatible with my recorder. Thanks.

all montors that are pal or CCIR (ie this one) are 1v p to p. However the lower end usnits do not have looping outputs, ie you cannot feed another monitor of this one.

Also the 75 Ohm is a termination and is not switchable on lower end units.

 

You only need a swithable 75 Ohm termination resistor if you have multiple monitors on a feed, due to only the last item requiring the termination resistor.
