jci
I have a Mitsubishi DX-TL HDD recorder, and i am looking for some replacement monitors as my current screens are getting a bit dark. The Mitsubishi has BNC connectors with 1.0Vp-p and 75 ohm output. The Secware 17" TFT monitor has a BNC connection but doesn't state the voltage or resistance, can someone confirm that the monitor would be compatible with my recorder. Thanks. Secware_Tech6
all montors that are pal or CCIR (ie this one) are 1v p to p. However the lower end usnits do not have looping outputs, ie you cannot feed another monitor of this one. Also the 75 Ohm is a termination and is not switchable on lower end units. You only need a swithable 75 Ohm termination resistor if you have multiple monitors on a feed, due to only the last item requiring the termination resistor.
