[Ticket Question] Flex 20 Wiring

Recommended Posts

I am struggling to find information on how to wire the Pyronix Deltabell Plus to the Honeywell Flex 20.

Also i would like to know how to wire the Honeywell DT8012F5 DUAL TEC Motion Sensor with Pet-Immunity (DT8012F5) to the Honeywell Flex 20 panel. At present i have connected the positive and negative to +12V and 0V. I have connected the NC to 0V and put a 1K resistor at the sensor to C, and then again a 1K resistor from C to Tamper. The problem i have is the sensor doesn't have a Fault terminal to wire to zone 1.

I need to look up the bell to answer that question.

If your sensor doesn't have a fault output, it doesn't matter.  Your wiring sounds correct (assuming that your first restor also connects to NC).  Just connect the zone signal to the other tamper connection.  Your sensor with then give 1k when the tamper is closed and the detector is not triggered. When the detector is triggered, the (NC - C) contact opens and the resistance changes to 2k.  This is correct for Galaxy.

Strobe     <<     Output 2

Eng Hold  (you cannot use this unless you have an additional RIO or output header fitted)

T             <<     0V  (fit a link to the other 0v connection in the bell)
