sw12
When trying to leave engineer mode keypad says: CHECKING FOR TAMPERS 1 mod tampers KEYPAD 010 So I can´t leave engineer mode. There is no battery installed in central panel. Connection is: RIO (nothing connected yet) - Central Panel - Keypad MK8 - RIO (with 1 detector) 1. What is wrong? 2. Maual says 10 Ah and 17 Ah battery. Is it ok tu usa a 7 Ah battery?
sw12
I removed RIO with detector, so Keypad MK8 became in the end of the daisy chain. The keypad error disappeared. But I think it was the tamper in the keypad that was the fault. Or must the keypad be in the end of the daisy chain? Now there is a power fault, so I better get a battery. stuart_mcg
The keypad can be anywhere in the chain. It's most likely that the keypad is/was not closed properly and tamper switch on the PCB is not being closed. Battery requirements are based on system loading. You'll likely be fine with a 7ah battery if your system doesn't have lots of powered devices.
