I have managed to change the master code and sort the alarm setting off problem (due to tamper) but I would still need programing manual if anyone has got one. I am using only 6 zone, should I leave the 2 zone as there are on the panel or do I need to do anything with them? I mean do some kind of connection or make any changes through the keypad? thanks

I have recently installed risco CPX control panel and have done some programming but it would be nice to have a manual/guide which describe every options in details, has anyone got any guide/manual please? How do I change the master default code of 5678? I have managed to changed the engineer default code from 1234, now when I enter the master code the alarm sets off even though I say "NO" to set system option, any idea what wrong I must have done? thanks

Thanks Elaine, I do have a old external sounder but i am thinking of replacing it anyway with a novagard 6 siren, does this siren comes with inbuilt battery backup? I am assuming you have to buy a cover with it. my old sounder is cable connected with a 4 core cable, will I need to run a 6 core cable or will the existing 4 core cable do the job? thanks

elaine, my control panel will be in the garage and keypad in the hall, would the beeps come from the keypad when I enter and exit after arming or do you need the sounder for this beeps? thanks

I am ready to order CPX control panel and dual tech detectors but not sure which backup battery I need to order which will fit into this panel? can someone please give me a make/model or a link to the battery which I can order? do I need a 4 core cable or a 6 core cable? has anyone got installation manual for CPX? thanks
