  2. Yes please, I would like an alternative that has a built in buzzer or chime(not a loud siren). Also it must not need to connect to wifi as looking for a basic standalone device. Thank you.
  3. The sensor will not work through glass, as the glass blocks the infrared needed for it to detect movement. It would need to be positioned with a clear, unobstructed view to operate correctly. If you’d like help finding an alternative that will suit your setup, I’m happy to assist.
  4. I am looking for motion sensors that sit on my window cill that points out of window and can detect a person outside but only up to a few meters. I would like a buzzer that goes off but not a loud siren. I dont have Wifi for security risks as everything is multiple VLANs via ethernet cables. Can you please recommend what would be suitable to achieve this, Thank you

Optex 20m External Twin Beam https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/cctv-equipment-c-1/detection-c-1_24/optex-20m-external-twin-beam-p-84.html Hi there, I am looking to have this type of system used in my house. To cover all usual access’s. Could you advise what infrared systems would be best and what control panel to streamline them with?
  14. yes or Eaton M12 multi sensor smoke and heat detector
  15. That detector requires an analysed circuit on the panel (some panels support this) or an analyser. Alternativly is a conventional circuit use Knight Grade 2 Shock and Surface / Tilt Sensor [SEISMO]
  16. ESP Optical Smoke Detector 12V With Relay Base PSD-212 https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/fire-c-38/firesmoke-detectors-c-38_39/esp-optical-smoke-detector-12v-with-relay-base-psd212-p-5303.html Will this fit an accenta g4 alarm panel. Four connections positive negative two more wires for trigger to zone 8.
  17. https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-equipment-c-36/vibration-detectors-c-36_56/aritech-gs610-shock-sensor-p-2831.html I have a wired home alarm system. Looking for replacements sensors that detect any force used to gain entry at windows (maybe referred to as shock sensors) Would this product be suitable?
  18. yes probably, what sensor are you replacing and in what environment?
  19. would this be a suitable quality replacement for a failed pir on my OPTIMA XM6 home alarm box Bosch Blue Line Gen2 12m PIR Detector https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-equipment-c-36/movement-detectors-c-36_116/all-c-36_116_37/bosch-blue-line-gen2-12m-pir-detector-p-2291.html
  20. Texecom Connect App – Free to Download The Texecom Connect app is free to install and use. However, to unlock its full functionality, your alarm system must be compatible and properly configured. For remote access and control, a Texecom SmartCom or SmartCom 4G module may be required, depending on your setup. Texecom Connect
  21. Generally a beeping texecom alarm is caused by 2 things. Chime is enabled and it is beeping when a circuit activates or it has a fault. Texecom Turn Chime Off Press the musical note button on the keypad. The chime will be disabled immediately. To set up chime zones: Enter your 4-digit user code. Press MENU, then press TICK to confirm. Scroll through the menu and select Edit Chime Zones. Press TICK. Browse the zone list and highlight the zone you want to enable. Press X to toggle. The zone status will change from Silent to Chime. Press MENU, then RESET to save and exit. Diagnose A Texecom System Fault If it’s a system fault that’s causing the beeping, your keypad will show a fault message. The beep will continue until the fault is fixed. Make a note of the fault displayed, this can also be retrieved from the texecom panel log Try entering your 4 digit code, then RESET. For further assistance create a new topic in the support forum listing the equipment type and fault reported.
  22. The default user code for texecom systems is '4321' but it may have been changed.
  23. Due to the chnage of elevation (ie top and bottom of stairs your really going to need 2 sensors. A corridor sensor on a bracket may work well but isnt designed to angled that way. Also bear in mind the link you provided is a intruder alarm sensor not for switching 240v. It could be connected to a relay and suitable power source though. If doing that id recommend a voltek system as they provide adjustable low voltage sensors and it will be easier to run a low voltage alarm cable to the sensors from where the current switching is taking place. Voltek single head adjutable PIR
  24. Please see attached images of our set-up. You can see in the white circle that the PIR fitting is located above the main door on the ground floor. Currently, it only activates when someone reaches the 4th step (both going up and down the stairs). We need the PIR sensor to: Activate the lights when someone walks through the main door on the ground floor. Also activate when someone is coming down the stairs from the 1st floor. The distance from the ground floor to the 1st floor is approximately 9 metres, but with an incline. Please could you advise on a suitable solution, or confirm whether the link provided above would work for this setup? Many thanks,

  26. Yes images would be useful to get a better understanding. ALso a drawing where you want detector coverage? You can upload them here
  27. I’m looking for a PIR sensor that can detect movement both from the bottom and the top of a staircase. Our current sensor is positioned on the wall above the door at the bottom of the staircase, but it only detects movement when someone is about four steps from the bottom. This is creating a safety risk, as the lights aren’t activating until a person walking down is already quite close to the bottom. The staircase is approximately 9 metres long. I have images I can share — please let me know an email address where I can send them. I was looking at the following item and was wondering if it would work for my requirements, or if you could recommend a product that would be more suitable for my situation. Thank you! https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-equipment-c-36/movement-detectors-c-36_116/all-c-36_116_37/optex-cx702-21m-wide-or-45m-long-pir-p-157.html
