Friday at 06:38 AM2 days Hi everyone,I’ve been working on people counting solutions that work with most standard IP/CCTV cameras, especially for retail stores, malls, and public venues. It’s been really interesting to see how different camera placements, resolutions, and lighting conditions affect accuracy. I’ve found that keeping the camera high and angled downwards usually gives the most reliable counts, and anonymizing the footage is a must for privacy compliance.I’d love to hear how others here handle similar analytics projects. Have any of you worked on footfall or people counting setups before? Any tips or pitfalls to share? Thanks!
