External power source for Visonic Powermaster LCD keypad KP250

Featured Replies

Hi

I have installed a Visonic Powermaster 30 and an LCD keypad KP250

I read in some KP-250 documents a reference to "Input Voltage (V DC) - 12" under "Power Description" section.

The electronics board in fact shows "DC IN" next to a 2 pin JST H2 connector.

I was wondering if:

  • the lcd keypad can in fact be powered up from an external power source?
  • if affirmative, what is the connector pinout (positive and negative pins)? and voltage to apply is the stated 12v?

thanks in advance

r.
