Scantronic 9448EUR-90 temper light on

I am trying to install Scantronic 9448EUR-90 board with two Takex MS100E multi pattern sensors connected in series on Zone 2 (all other zones are disabled) and Elmdene Quartz 1000live sounder. My problem is that control panel shows temper fault - all boxes are closed, all cable connections verified. If I reset the panel by disconnecting battery and main supply the temper light will go off Zone 2 light will go on and when you try to set the alarm with users code the temper lights come up on again. Could somebody recommend how I can solved the problem?

Your panel will not set with a tamper fault.You need to find out which tamper circuit is at fault , global tamper , bell tamper or case tamper.If you place a link across A/T then close the panel and reset , if the fault clears , then you have a fault on that circuit.Try the same on the bell tamper ( link between 0V and TR at the bell terminals).
