The Scantronic alarm is situated in the hallway and the past couple of days an alarm keeps going off. It seems to happen when we close the door leading into the hallway or sometimes we do nothing to set it off. The error on the log says "Z01 TAMPER", so there is tampering in zone 1 but the installer didnt inform us on the zones in the house or even how many zones there are in the house.
I would be tempted to omit the Zone 1 from the system, but I would be worried as I am guessing it is the zone that encompasses the front door/hallway.
