Sorted now, exit mode on program 2 was set to disabled, set it to timed Should program 1 be set to final door it's currently on timed.

Installed above alarm several weeks ago, the one only problem I have not been able to resolve is that there is no option to part set the system using program 2. Program 1 is the main program so I've set up program 2 so the landing pir is not used and intended to use this program at night. The instructions say enter CODE press P and select program number in this case 2 but I press number 2 but nothing happens and it stays set on program 1. I also have an LCD keypad upstairs for use at night. One thing the instructions say is that "the installer has to program the system for part operation", I presume this mean program 2 has to be set up which I've done or am I missing something.

Thanks, that's what the instructions say, confused me because it says Batt + &- so thought it meant connect up to a battery. So basically connect Batt + & - together via a link wire.

Sorry forgot to mention I guess you know it's the external sounder I'm talking about.

First little problem, in the installation overview instruction number 5.Connect the BATT link on the AG6 what does this mean!

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly much appreciated, I know it's pro gear I'll be dealing with but I'm an engineer by trade so I'm confident. I'll go for the honeywell as you suggested. I think I will get away with 8 zones so I thought this kit http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1439 with 2 extra pirs and 3 extra surface door contacts. Please could you advise which model number pirs are in the kit as there are a few is215 and want to get the same and also which door contacts are they in the kit. Many thanks for your help Bryan

Hi, Need an alarm system asap as I've just had an attempted break in and it's given me the kick up the backside I needed. Complete novice at alarms but a competent diyer.Please recommend me an alarm system for a 3 bed semi, conservatory upvc patio doors to the rear, upvc side kitchen door and upvc front door plus 2 downstairs windows need protecting I think i will need 4 pirs for the down stairs rooms Kitchen, hallway,dinnig room and lounge and 3 surface mount door contacts. I would like to have a panel upstairs so the alarm can be armed at night. I think I will need an extra bell box for the rear of the property please advise. Please recommend wired or wireless which ever is the best and quote me for a complete kit with everything included , my budget is around £200 but can stretch a little more if required.
