    Many thanks for that... The previous house occupier was the contract owner - so no contract now. As it WAS on a contract I expect the board to be locked and as such am going the easier route of a new 595 and keypad. Thanks again, Simannjo

    Hi all... I am a sparky with a builder that would like an additional keypad adding to his Gardtec 591. The current keypad is a Contour with ACE - I assume this is a keyfob system. He only has one code, and the system was under contract with an alarm company by the previous owner, so... 1. Is his code likely to allow the integration of another keypad? 2. As he doesn't have any keyfobs (ACE) does he need another ACE compatible keypad - if not what pad would do? 3. Does the 591 allow factory resets? 4. Is a new system the better option?
