  1. Help with choosing a new alarm system

    Hi, Can I please ask for some help on choosing a new alarm system for my 4 bed semi house with a garage on the side. The garage has a flat roof and there is a new flat roof extension being built at the back which will give access to 2 bedrooms. I have a living room at the front and a study on one side. The open plan kitchen/diner will have large folding patio doors at the back. The house is being completely gutted so hard wiring is not a problem and I have builders and electrician in at the moment re-wiring the place. I have been told about the Scantronic 9651 and 9751 systems and i would like a bell on the outside with LED lights and a number pad that can be controlled with key fobs. Can anyone please advise on these two control panels, the 9751 is obviously more expensive and would I need this. Also, how complex is it to set these systems up? I have had a couple of quotes of
