  1. The Scantronic 9800 isn't made anymore. You could try ebay for a new keypad. The only other option is to replace the keypad and control panel. Scantronic 9651 and texecom premier and good panels. If you understand electrics and are a good DIY'er, it shouldn't be too hard. If not ring round a few NSI approved alarm co's in your area and they would be happy to help you out. www.nsi.org.uk
  2. I never knew that! How big is the transformer then?
  3. The powermax comes with a plug in transformer though, so i presume you couldn't wire it in to a spur like you suggested. I presume with the infinite and 500r you can wire them in directly though?
  4. Hi all Looking to purchase a wireless alarm for my house. 5pir's, 1 contact, panel. Would like to use existing wired bell box if possible. A good battery life would also be nice. Been looking at the infinite prime alarm, and the visonic powermax kit. The Scantronic 500r also looks ok Only problem is that the powermax plugs in with a plug in transformer, wouldn'y that be easy to defeat by a burglar? Any advice would be great Thanks Josh
  5. Does the Scantronic 9651 EN-43 have a proximity remote keypad, if so does it come with any proximity tags included? Thanks
