  1. Hi I have just installed a new Accenta G4 Compact with LCD keypad. I am quite confident that all is wired correctly. I note the Engineer's manual tells you to connect all the zones, tamper, pa circuits and then speakers. First question - the manual tells you to make sure that the factory fitted links are connected to the PA, TAMP and T-A. Surely this would mean that these functions would not work if these links were left in as they would be permanently shorted? I have checked all these circuits and they are closed (short) and therefore I assume I may disregard this. Second question - On page 14 the manual instructs you to connect the mains and it says the light comes on to show it is powered up. When I do this the alarm starts ringing (entering 0123 stops the alarm however). Is this correct as the manual says the alarm will ring once the battery is connected, not when the mains is connected. Last question - on page 15 it tells you to fit the top cover and connect the speaker wires. Are the speaker wires for another model, as I don't think my system has an internal speaker? Thank you in advance for any advice which can be given.
