will a Texecom premier elite RKP Model number DBD-0129 Work on a ADE Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen 4 control panel ? As i have 3 lcd RKP at the moment, and i want to up grade them.

I need to buy one of the Texecom Premier Elite alarm panels (plastic case) and wanted to know if they have the latest Firmware v4.02 on them. My current Premier Elite 24 met with a slight accident after a mains power surge and it's destroyed it, so I want to replace it with an identical model. It will be much easier to replace and I have just wallpapered around two remote keypads. If I order Tuesday, is there any way of getting one before Saturday to a CH43 post code? I have dual sounders outside (front and back) and don't want to annoy the neighbours any more, so will have to replace it at the weekend. I'm also looking for something like a power surge adapter for the mains input if you have anything like that. The rest of the equipment I bought from you a few years ago works perfectly, nothing apart from the Texecom panel went wild. All my dual tech detectors, breakglass, keypads etc are fine. I've sent Texecom a few pictures of the panel. It's just one of those things sent to annoy us!

I have an Apollo 8ch HD series DVR with what I presume are analogue cameras, using balons with dome cameras and a 12v feed via the same cat6 cable. Will the newer HD dome cameras work with this set up?

I'm seen your texecom starter kit - New Texecom Ricochet Kit 2 64 Zone Wireless Kit with Sounder. I want to buy a texecom direct wired bell box. Can I wire that into the control panel for this kit or will it only work with a wireless bell box? Does the Texecom AEB-0001 Impaq Plus Shock Sensor Grade 2 work with the New Texecom Ricochet Kit 2 64 Zone Wireless Kit with Sounder. Also is there an option to have the system txt me when its set off?

I'm having some problems in getting the CQR SC517 to work with the Premier Elite 48 panel. 5 contacts work as intended and they are setup the way that I cut T1,T2 and the red wires giving the correct restiance towards the Texecom (Double Pole / EOL), in Wintex they work perfectly. 10 contacts do not work, gap is the same between the contact and the magnet 6-10 mm. The do not work, same resistors are cut. In Wintex they report tamper alarm. Any ideeas ?

The 6 stand-by batteries in the main panel are not being trickle charged. Replacing them with fully charged new ones (1.37V) gets the system working correctly in all respects but only for approx 3 hours. The cells are then down to 1.2V off-load. Have you any information regarding the charging circuit that could allow me to investigate further and possibly repair? Your website indicates that the Homelink 75 is “sold out”. If I need to purchase a replacement system can you please recommend a suitable model Having had further time to think, it would seem logical to assume that the panel’s internal power supply is not producing anything at all - not just the battery charging voltage. Putting new fully charged batteries in runs the system correctly until the batteries run down. Is it possible to obtain a replacement power supply board?

Hi, I wonder if you could advise – we are a children’s nursery and we have an issue with parents leaving the front door open. They leave it to swing shut but it doesn’t click securely (when shut properly it has a keypad entry). I would like to put a buzzer on it that goes off when the door is opened and stays on until it is shut again? I’ve looked at the door contact alarms but they all seem to say they have loud alarms. I just want a quiet buzz as a polite reminder rather than an alarm? Do you have any suggestions?

I want to fit some wired smoke detectors to a Galaxy Dimension pannel. Considering Texecom Exodus 4W or Menvier M12. Would you recommend one over the other? Can you explain the difference between Texecom OH with and without N/O relay?

Hi, i recently ordered some extra window/door sensor and an external siren for my Visonic Power Master 10 ADT Branded alarm. I have added a few sensors in the past with no problems but both door switches and the siren will not communicate with my alarm panel. When I add the device and press the auto-acquire button on the new sensor the panel tells me it is not a compatible device. So i tried entering the 7 digit number and now the panel said it is not registered on the network. Thinking it may be my panel at fault i tried to register them on a neighbours panel with the same results please advise?

hope you could advise a product for our requirements. We maintain the electrical installations for a poultry farmer in Devon, he would like to install a CCTV security system. He would like a camera positioned on each of the 6 buildings - looking for a high quality image day and night. From a central monitoring point the sheds are arranged on a radius of 200m (furthest shed - most sheds within 50m), hard wiring the cameras would be impractical. Do you have a wireless system that would be suitable.

customer has a voltek security light system. 1803 controller with 2 sensors and an internal alert. the sensors work, triggering the internal alarm, but there is no output for the 2 floodlights. i have checked the 20mm fuse to the immediate right of the 240V output terminals and it's good.i suspect that the 1803 is faultybut would like a 2nd opinion before buying a replacement.

I’m currently considering renewing my current wired alarm system (9450) and increasing the zones to at least eight, as offered in the Secware ADE LCD Accenta 3x Optex Saver PIR starter kit. I’ll be exchanging the external bell sounder which this kit appears to accommodate all those requirements, I’d also like to exchange my two battery operated smoke sensors to wired units. What can you suggest or recommend any other?
